Pressfitting

Some of the advantages of the clamping systems developed by Samac:

Samac has developed a custom graphical interface on ABB robots that allows the operator to:
  • View the status of the robot and more easily determine the cause of any anomalies
  • Analyze station status and mission times
  • Operate devices connected to the robot and stations it interacts with to
    facilitate manual loading and unloading operations

Wearable devices and augmented reality to improve human-machine interaction, safety, productivity and responsiveness in the management of “alerts”.

| SMART WATCH

Samac has developed the smart watch application “SamacWearable”. Thanks to the watch and an intuitive color interface, the user can discover the status of the stations in real time and be able to promptly intervene to prevent downtime. The use of the Smart Watch also relieves the operator of the responsibility of constantly checking the stations, with anomalies promptly reported by the device.

| SMART GLASSES

Taking advantage of smart glasses technology is a further step towards comprehensively assisting our customers: by seeing in real time what the remotely connected customer is seeing, the Samac technician becomes the eye guide and can give instructions to the maintenance technician, who has their hands free, on the procedures to follow by means of indications or images traced in space through augmented reality.

Thanks to virtual reality we can also simulate and fully navigate our lines during the planning phase and explore them before the production process. This tool is essential for a detailed analysis of aspects such as ergonomics and optimization of stations where an operator is present.

| PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE

Thanks to the ad hoc sensors installed, our lines are able to prevent potential problems through the detection of various data: for years Samac has made the IO-Link standard its own, using smart devices and sensors to allow the collection of much more information in the field. Thanks to artificial intelligence and condition monitoring techniques, Samac has set up an effective preventive and predictive maintenance system.

| DATA MANAGEMENT

All the data collected by the line are examined through the analysis modules (CPK, waste Pareto chart, etc.). These analyses also allow the line to recognize any drifts related to the part or the various components installed in the stations. 

Samac IT infrastructures allow the sharing of production data on the cloud and, where possible, also on fog to reduce latency times; our systems are also interconnected with the customer’s ERPs and MESs.
