Over 30 assembly and testing lines and machines installed in 11 years. The relationship between the system manufacturer Samac and the Italian subsidiary of IHI Charging Systems International, specializing in the production of turbochargers for many of the major Italian and foreign automakers, is well established. We went on a tour of the group plants, recently re-organized according to a lean logic and in an Industry 4.0 perspective, to find out what are the secrets of such an enduring and deeply rooted partnership.
